A Target bag!

That's right, a target bag.  Tonight, Thursday, March 4th we were out as a family and when we came home we found a Target bag under our door step.  We carried the kids in and Pat said, "Laura, there's something in it, it says Skelton family!" So as we quickly as we could, we tried to get kids settled, we came down and opened the envelope.

Inside was a letter saying:
Pat and Laura
Best wishes in your journey of growing your family.  You are so bold in following God's prompting for your lives and whatever He has in store for you.  Praying for you and your family!

With the letter their was $500 cash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Did you read that!  $500 CASH!!!
First I want to thank you, whomever you are, that you were willing to yield yourself, your family, your finances to God's provision.  Thank you, more than words could ever say, thank you.  We have NO IDEA who has done such a gift as this, but we say thanks a million times over.  Pat and I just laughed, and we are PRAISING God, He is so so so good!  He always is.  He always provides what is needed, in His timing.  I don't know what else to say, I am (which never happens), speechless.  I am humbled beyond words. All I can really say is thank you.  So, thank you.

Thank you God, you are so so so so good.  May we never doubt the work of your hand, nor the might of your name.

Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God.
2Corithians 3:5

The craziest part of all this is Pat and I have been separately praying about the money part, not really crazy because we know this to be true, but we got so wrapped up that well we just hadn't spent the time to pray together about this.  Last night is the first night we really came together in prayer over the "finances" of it all.
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them...
Mark 11:24

  1. That's awesome Laura. Trust in the Lord and make him your provider, your Jehovah Jireh. He knows all your needs. What a blessing and I'm praising the Lord with you.
